• Payment terms are Net 30 days unless otherwise agreed
• 50% deposit required for projects exceeding R100,000
• Late payments incur interest at the prime rate plus 2%
• We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts

4.3 Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, permit approvals, and material availability.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards.

5.2 Equipment Warranties

• Installation workmanship: 12 months
• Equipment warranties: As per manufacturer specifications
• Solar panels: 25-year performance warranty
• Inverters: 5-10 year warranty (varies by model)

5.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover damage caused by:

• Misuse or negligence
• Unauthorized modifications
• Acts of God or force majeure
• Normal wear and tear

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, and materials on our website and in our services are the property of Sgananda Group or our licensors and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

9.1 Service Cancellation

• Cancellations must be made in writing
• Cancellation fees may apply based on work completed
• Custom-ordered materials are non-refundable

9.2 Refunds

Refunds are issued at our discretion and may be subject to restocking fees and deduction of services already rendered.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiations between the parties
2. Mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
3. Arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) rules

The arbitration shall be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, and conducted in English.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability
